Nora loves to share the wisdom found in the Science of Yoga. She is a seasoned instructor and teaches all levels including specific Yoga teacher trainings. Her classes accommodate students with a wide range of challenges whether physical, emotional, psychological or spiritual. Nora guides students safely and knowledgeably through yogic postures and practices helping students to release stress and tension, strengthen the body and mind, and learn to relax deeply. Through Yoga Therapy, Nora prescribes Yogic practices along with counselling to help bring clients back into alignment, build strength, and clear energy channels to increase the life force.
Nora graduated from Vancouver Counsellor’s College in 2005 and began Lifestyle Counselling practice in Guelph, ON. She completed a certified training in Thai Yoga Therapy at Lotus Palm School, Montreal with Kam Thye Chow and Blake Martin in 2006. In 2007, Nora completed a 500 hr Yoga Teacher Training Program in Guelph with Rita Cupitt with a focus in therapeutic yoga, followed by an Intensive 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training at Sivananda Yoga Ranch, New York. She also completed a 300-hour training in Mind, Body Yoga Therapy with Dr. Paul Epstein at Sivananda Bahamas. Nora is also a certified Life Coach with the American Life Coach Academy 2019.

Lifestyle and Personal Development Coaching
is a holistic approach to that helps clients recognize imbalances and misalignments in their beliefs and their reality. The tasks are to re-align and re-condition the mind to stay balanced and focused on healthier approaches to living. Areas examined during sessions are personal habits, self-esteem, past experiences and beliefs, present conflicts, strengths, weaknesses, and the individual's life situation.

Yoga Therapy trains the body and mind to respond to stress differently and reconditions the body in a gentle healing manner. By applying yoga exercises and techniques to bring one back into alignment physically, mentally and emotionally it is possible to develop an optimally functioning body and calm, centred mind. Areas of tension/pain are addressed, manipulated and taught to relax. Once relaxed the body is trained to function in a more effective, energy efficient and functional way.
Although there are many benefits to be gained from attending a group yoga class, an ideal way to learn yoga and develop a personal practice for individual needs is with private yoga sessions. Your needs are assessed and your class is in the comfort of your own home, workplace or at various studios, even outside in nature. A catered yoga practice of postures and breathing will be developed and taught; one that is appropriate for your particular needs.
